Transistor highlights: sad sick Sword Boyfriend doing his level best to sing along with you
I liked this game a lot! Short and sad and sweet. If there’s ever an official weepy tie-in comic, I’m gonna be first in line to apply to draw it, portfolio in hand.

i’ve only played transistor for half an hour but i would die for the nice man in the sword who says snarky things about enemies and comforts me when i get hurt
(From the fic I just posted.)
A week and a half later I’m still super proud of this. Because this, right here, exists at a junction between “what I was aiming for” and “what I’m capable of” that I’m actually quite happy with. I feel like I achieved what I saw in my head not quite perfectly but in such a way that the difference doesn’t discourage me and doesn’t really… stick out?
I may have had something glossier in my inner vision, but this is still a refined, finished picture that achieves the main goals (brilliant glowing saturation against the duller rest; Red looking refined and a little pensive) that I wanted it to.
I think about that post that’s like “for Red to ride a motorcycle THAT fast she must have a LOT of experience” quite frequently
Yeah, on second thought, Red is not coming to Acen. This poor wig needs some serious TLC, more than the quick add-more-hairspray-and-pray fixes I’ve done for the last couple of wears.
Top 4 games in the tags???
Whether they’re games that consumed you, got you in to gaming, or are just your favorites.
Aaaalll right I think I’m done now.
Transistor: a good game where you are a terrifying vengeance-juggernaut and your Giant Anime Sword loves and supports you very very much.
